The Edit Co. | Interior Styling Services
Thoughtful, lived-in spaces that feel elevated, personal, and entirely your own.
At The Edit Co., styling is not one-size-fits-all.
Rather than fixed packages, I offer a flexible approach so we can build exactly what your space needs.
How It Works
Step 1. In home consultation
Step 2. Vision & Direction
Step 3. Sourcing
Step 4. Ordering & Coordination
Step 5. In-home styling
Read more about each step below.
Step 1. In-Home Consultation - Free
We start with a 60–90 minute walkthrough of your space, where I get to know you — your lifestyle, passions, and how you use your home — along with what’s working and what’s not. I’ll take measurements and photos so everything is considered accurately moving forward.
Step 2: Vision & Direction (Design Phase) - $275
(per room)
This is where the foundation of your space comes to life.
I create curated vision boards that define the overall direction — including layout, aesthetic, and how the space will function and feel. As part of this process, I thoughtfully pull in select pieces to help visualize the space cohesively.
This is not final sourcing, but rather a creative framework to align on the vision before moving into execution.
What’s included:
- 2 custom vision board options
- Layout and design direction
- Guidance on what to keep, edit, or introduce
Additional revisions beyond the two included boards are $50 each.
Design begins once the $275 design fee is received.
Step 3: Sourcing - $150-650+
Sourcing is thoughtfully integrated into the design process — not treated as a separate step.
As I develop your vision boards and overall direction, I simultaneously research and select pieces that bring the space together, ensuring everything works cohesively in terms of layout, scale, function, and aesthetic.
Pricing is based on the scope and number of pieces being incorporated into the space:
- Light (1–3 pieces): $150–$250
- Moderate (4–6 pieces): $300–$450
- Full (7+ pieces): starting at $500
Additional pieces beyond this scope are billed at $50 per piece.
Note: Sourcing begins with an initial retainer based on the scope of the project (number of pieces to source and purchase). As the design evolves, any additional pieces of scope adjustments will be invoiced accordingly.
Step 4: Ordering & Coordination (optional) - 10% procurement cost
You can either order items directly using the provided links, or I can handle ordering and coordination on your behalf for a more seamless, hands-off experience.
If you choose this option, I’ll manage the full purchasing process — including placing orders, tracking shipments, coordinating deliveries, and handling any issues that may arise along the way.
A 10% procurement fee applies to all items ordered on your behalf. Storage fees may apply if items are delivered in advance of installation.
Step 5. In-Home Styling — $115/hr (2-hour minimum)
Once your pieces have arrived, we’ll schedule an in-home styling session to bring everything together.
This is where the design comes to life — arranging furniture, refining layout, layering in artwork and decor, and making thoughtful adjustments so the space feels cohesive, balanced, and complete.
This service is ideal for:
- clients who have sourced new pieces and want a polished, finished result
- clients who already have the right pieces but need help refining layout and flow
For larger or phased projects, multiple styling sessions may be recommended to fully complete the space.
Optional Add-Ons
Personal Shopping (In-Store) - $115/hour
I shop on your behalf — sourcing pieces in-store and bringing options directly to you.
Ideal for clients who want a more hands-off experience or access to unique, in-person finds.
Furniture Storage — $100
Includes temporary storage of items in The Edit Co.’s storage unit (for items that can be safely lifted and handled independently).
Storage is offered for a limited time and capacity. For larger items requiring special handling, third-party movers or storage may be required and are paid directly by the client.
The Edit Co. reserves the right to decline storage for any item.
